The Chairman of Sabina Corporation Limited, Mr. Peter Chen, has been a long-time supporter of university education, especially where the curriculum has a real-life focus. From 1999 to 2001, Mr. Chen served as a Member of the Council of the Queensland University of Technology for a 3-term as a nominee appointed by the Minister of Education on behalf of the Queensland Government.
TasCollege Education Trust has been established on 8th August 2008 under the sponsorship of the Chairman to start up as a Registered Training Organization to conduct special additional hospitality course subjects focusing on customer relationship, fusion cooking, wine management, and multi-cultural etiquette & customs. Exchange programs to allow students from both countries to go to China and Australia to gain real-life work and study experiences in would be strongly encouraged.
Roger X Yu BA, MAPPL, Juris Doctor and a Director of Sabina Corporation limited has been named by Mr. Chen as the Principal-designate to head the new teaching organization in Australia. Mr. Yu is at present in private practice as a barrister-at-law of the Supreme Court of Queensland.
Born in Jiangxi China, he started his career by studying a four year degree course in English Language & Literature in Nanchang University. He then went on to complete a post-graduate degree with Kunming University, graduating in 1987 with a Master of Applied Linguistics. He was appointed to the positions of Associate Professor and Vice-Dean of Dept. of Foreign Languages prior to his coming to Queensland University in 1998. He graduated in Master of Applied Law in June 2000 and was awarded a Juris Doctor by the University of Queensland in May 2003.

Australian Technical College - Northern Tasmania
The Australian Technical College – Northern Tasmania is under the management of Mr. Nigel Hill as College Principal. The college is a registered non-government school catering for Year 11 and 12 students looking to get a head start in a trade career.
The College offers an innovative curriculum which integrates Tasmanian Certificate of Education (TCE) requirements, units of competence from selected training packages, along with employability and enterprise skills, and supported by extensive on-line learning technology for increased flexibility and accessibility to students and employers. |

Students undertake an Australian School-based Apprenticeship at Certificate III level in their chosen trade which includes part-time employment with an employer over the two years, providing a strong foundation to their trade career. The College currently offers trade training in the building and construction, metal and engineering, electro-technology and commercial cookery industries. Automotive and Rural industries are being considered for inclusion.
The College operates from two campuses; a central campus in Launceston and a satellite campus situated in Burnie on the North West coast. The College is currently operating from interim sites in both locations and plans to move in to new purpose built campuses in Launceston and Burnie in November 2008.
The College is governed by an industry led Board of Directors. Local industry support and community involvement include representatives from Delta Hydraulics, Caterpillar Elphinstone, Russell Smith Pty Ltd, CB&M, Tasmanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Learning Partners, St Patrick’s College, RGB Consulting and KPMG. The independent chair is Mr Mac Russell, founding partner in Russell Smith Electrical and Communication Pty Ltd. Industry Reference Groups provide direct input to the operation of the College.
Jilin Normal University – Northern China
Jilin Normal University is one of the key universities in Jilin Province, founded in 1958. It’s seated in Siping, the Hero City, situated in the broad, fertile hinterland of Songliao. Zhuo Yue is the incumbent Secretary of the Party Committee of the University. Zhang Baijun holds the post of the Principal.
The graduates of the University make up 30% of the front line teachers of middle schools and 36% of 120 demonstration high schools in Jilin Province. The graduates receive extensive praise of the society for their sturdy foundation, great potentialities, strong ability and good teaching quality.
The University is the research centre of higher normal education of Jilin Province. In recent years, the University undertook 116 items of the Ninth Five-year plan educational and scientific layout, education reform of ministry of education and loan from the World Band of Ministry of Education, 120 items of provincial education and science reform. There are 31 items of the teaching reform achievements, which are awarded by the Provincial Teaching Achievement Prize.
